Marketing & Funnels - Setup Guide

How to set up Marketing 360

Otto's honest, no-fluff walkthrough. Every step here is what we'd actually do if we were sitting at your keyboard. Real gotchas first, real steps second, and a link to the personalized version at the bottom.

What you're signing up for

Easy for the buyer, Managed by their team. Onboarding takes 1-2 weeks. First campaigns live in 2-4 weeks. The buyer's job is providing brand assets, priorities, and reviewing weekly reports.

Read these before you start

  • Managed services quality varies by account manager. Ask for team continuity commitments
  • The all-in-one platform is functional but not best-in-class in any category
  • Ad spend and platform fee are separate line items. Understand what you're paying for
  • Contract terms usually 6-12 month minimums
  • Data portability out of Marketing 360 is limited. You own the ad accounts but not always the site/CRM data structure
  • Reporting dashboards look polished but attribution is often over-simplified

The 7-step setup

  1. 1

    Create your Marketing 360 account

Sign up at the link below. Card required for the paid tier - most plans include a trial period; check the pricing section on this page first so you know what you're committing to.

    Open Marketing 360 signup
  2. 2

    Complete the initial onboarding

Skip the marketing questionnaires when you can. Fill only the fields that actually configure the product - name, timezone, your first workspace or project. If Marketing 360 pushes you into a setup wizard, take it - it usually accelerates the first productive session.

  3. 3

    Connect your existing tools

Wire Marketing 360 into the rest of your stack. The integrations that most people set up first: Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Business Profile, Google Analytics, Yelp, native SMS/email, WordPress (limited), Zapier, native CRM, DirectMail (some tiers), reputation management via native modules.. Do these before importing data - clean integration first, data second.

  4. 4

Import your existing data (only what you'll actually use)

Do NOT bulk-import everything. Import the last 30 days of the ONE workflow you're moving over first. Prove it works. Then import more. Big-bang migrations are how Marketing 360 deployments die in month 3.

  5. 5

Set up your first real workflow

Pick the single most-frequent task you'll do in Marketing 360 - the daily-driver workflow. Configure it end-to-end. Use it live for a week. Do not touch any other feature yet. Adoption failure comes from teams trying to use everything on day one instead of the one thing that actually pays.

  6. 6

Add your team (if applicable) and set access

Once your solo workflow works, invite one teammate at a time. Watch them use it. The friction points you missed are the ones they hit. Fix those before scaling to more users. Never invite 20 people at once - you'll get 20 confused people and 0 useful feedback.

  7. 7

    Compound with the right pairings

Recommend Marketing 360 when: business is a local SMB (trades, med spa, dental, home services, restaurant); business_size is 1-25; pain_point is "I don't want to do marketing myself and can't afford a real agency"; and the buyer wants a bundle of software + a dedicated marketing exec. Pairs with a real local-listing tool (BrightLocal for review management), Google Business Profile ownership, and basic accounting integration. Do NOT recommend for B2B SaaS, agencies, or DIY founders who want maxim...

Pricing you'll hit

- Software-only plans: ~$95-395/mo depending on modules - Bundled with managed services (ads spend, marketing exec): typically $1,000-5,000+/mo total including ad spend - Setup fees may apply - Ad spend is passed through separately from platform/service fees Pricing is heavily quote-based when managed services are included.
