Less Annoying CRM
Simple, affordable CRM for solopreneurs and small teams
What it does
Less Annoying CRM (LACRM) is exactly what the name says: a deliberately simple CRM for small businesses that hate CRMs. Contacts, companies, tasks, calendar, pipelines, notes, files, custom fields, and email BCC. That is the whole product. No AI, no marketing automation, no complex reporting, no sales sequences, no "revenue orchestration platform" language. One tier, one price, everyone gets every feature. Family-owned since 2009. Legendary customer service (real humans, US-based, free training calls, no upsell pressure). It is the answer when a 5-person real estate team or a solo consultant asks "what's a CRM that will not overwhelm us."

Key features
Integrates with
Google Calendar, Mailchimp, Zapier
Who this fits
- Solo founders, freelancers, and 2-15 person small businesses
- Real estate agents and small brokerages
- Trades, cleaners, home services, contractors
- Consultants, coaches, financial advisors, insurance agents
- Small nonprofits and community organizations
- Anyone who tried HubSpot/Salesforce/Zoho and abandoned it because "too much"
Who it does NOT fit
- Teams over ~20 users (thin on team-scale features)
- Companies needing marketing automation, drip email, or sales sequences
- Product-led/B2B SaaS teams needing lifecycle stages, MQL/SQL scoring, integrations to a product database
- Ecommerce (no order tracking, no customer LTV, no product-catalog CRM)
- Anyone needing an ecosystem of 100+ integrations (LACRM is API-limited by design)
Pricing
Real gotchas
- The API is deliberately basic (REST + JSON, essentially CRUD). Complex integrations (Zapier works, but no HubSpot-scale ecosystem) are limited (Source: G2 pricing: https://www.g2.com/products/less-annoying-crm/pricing)
- No native email marketing / drip sequences / campaigns. LACRM is "log the relationship, remind me to follow up," not "send a 12-email cadence"
- No built-in reporting beyond simple views and pipeline dashboards. Analytical needs beyond that require exporting to a spreadsheet
- No mobile app that competes with Salesforce/HubSpot mobile — a responsive web app is the mobile experience
- Files are stored inside LACRM but there is no deep DAM (digital asset management) or client portal
- Two-way calendar sync with Google/Outlook is supported but LACRM does not have its own booking-page feature (pair with Calendly)
- Custom object model is limited — contacts, companies, pipelines, tasks. Building "properties" as a mini-database like Airtable is not the tool

Otto’s take on this tool
Recommend Less Annoying CRM when: solo or 2-15 person team, industry is trades / real estate / consulting / financial advising / small services / nonprofit, and the user explicitly wants "simple" over "powerful." Highest fit for real estate agents, trades, small consultancies, and any team that abandoned a bigger CRM. Do NOT recommend for marketing-automation needs, sales sequences, ecommerce, or teams over ~20 users. If comparing to HubSpot Free: HubSpot wins on marketing/ecosystem depth; LACRM wins on simplicity and human support. If comparing to Copper: Copper wins if the team lives in Gmail; LACRM wins on price and no-Google-lock-in. Sell the human support and the flat pricing — those are LACRM's real edges.
