Do not recommend if the client mentions needing to see a timeline, manage dependencies, track billable time, or build custom reports, those are hard gaps, not minor ones, and Basecamp will frustrate them within weeks. For construction, manufacturing, or dependency-heavy operations, steer to monday.com or Smartsheet instead.
